The first days with your baby are a truly special chapter of life — one you wish you could hold on to forever. My baby and newborn sessions are all about capturing those quiet, beautiful moments: tiny fingers, sleepy cuddles, little expressions, and the unique connection between you and your baby.
I keep sessions natural, relaxed, and unposed, with plenty of time for feeding, cuddling, and soothing. There is no pressure for your baby to sleep or “cooperate” — we simply follow their rhythm. This allows me to create natural baby photographs that feel true to you and your everyday life as a family.
Those first weeks with a newborn can be intense and, at times, overwhelming. That’s why I’m happy to come to your home and photograph you in your familiar surroundings, without disrupting your routine. There’s no need to tidy up or clean beforehand. Simply enjoy this time together as a family. I’ll take care of the rest.
Newborn sessions are especially beautiful during the first few weeks after birth, when babies often sleep a lot and naturally settle into those peaceful, curled-up positions. But there is no “right” age for baby photography. I’m happy to photograph your little one at any stage. What matters most is that you and your baby feel comfortable.
Your session can take place in the comfort of your own home or somewhere else that feels right for you. I mainly photograph families in Ratingen, Düsseldorf and the surrounding area, and I also travel throughout the Rhineland and Ruhr region.
Because these little moments only happen once.

- You will receive a curated selection of images from your session in a private online gallery. The gallery will include watermarked previews, allowing you to choose your favourite images. Once you’ve made your selection, each chosen photograph will be carefully hand-edited and delivered to you in high resolution.

Is my photography right for you?
Choosing a photographer is about more than just loving their images, it’s about finding someone whose style, personality and approach feel right for you.
If you’re drawn to natural, emotional and editorial photography, we might be a great fit. But to be sure, before your special day, we can meet in person or online to see if the chemistry fits and then we can discuss necessary wedding details.
How far do you travel?
I’m based in Ratingen and photograph throughout Düsseldorf, Cologne, Essen, NRW and beyond.
Do you work in English?
Absolutely. I’m happy to communicate in both English and German.
Are the photographs professionally edited?
Yes. Every image in your final gallery is carefully selected and professionally edited to create a consistent look and feel.
How long does it take to receive our photographs?
My editing and delivery times vary depending on the type of photography and the season. I’ll always give you an estimated delivery time when you book.
Can we share our photographs on social media?
Absolutely! I love seeing your photographs being shared. You’re welcome to post your images for personal use, and I’d always appreciate being tagged.
Do you offer sessions outdoors?
Yes. Shootings can take place outdoors, at your home or at a location that is meaningful to you.
What should we wear for our session?
Choose outfits that make you feel comfortable. This could be anything from cosy textured knits, denim, soft pastels, neutral/earthy tones, or even primary complementary colours.
I’d personally avoid large logos, busy patterns and smart watches, as they can be distracting. Don’t worry about having perfectly coordinated outfits. This session is about you and your family. And if you’re unsure, I’m always happy to help with outfit ideas before your session.
Do we need to prepare anything before the session?
Not much! Make sure everyone has eaten and, if possible, had a good rest. Bring anything your children might need during the session, such as snacks, water or a favourite comfort item.
Can we bring our dog?
Of course! Pets are part of the family too.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we can either reschedule or discuss an alternative location, depending on the type of session.
Can we book a session as a gift?
Yes! Photography sessions make a lovely gift for birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas or simply because.
When is the best time for a newborn session?
Ideally, newborn sessions take place within the first 5–14 days after birth, when babies are often sleepier and naturally curl up into those sweet newborn poses. But there’s no need to worry if your baby is a little older. Beautiful, natural photographs can be created at any stage. My sessions are relaxed with plenty of time for cuddles, feeding and little breaks.
