Whether you want to celebrate your relationship, your engagement, your growing family, or simply capture a special chapter of your life, my family and couples sessions are about creating images that feel natural, personal and authentic.
The way you look at each other. Your love, your connection, the closeness, the hugs, and all those beautiful little moments in between. The ones that happen when you simply forget about the camera.
Sessions can take place in the comfort of your own home, outdoors in nature, or somewhere that holds a special meaning to you. When needed, I’ll offer gentle guidance, while always leaving plenty of room for things to unfold naturally. The result is family and couples photography that feels like you.
And yes, your four-legged family members are always welcome, too. They are part of your story and deserve to be part of your memories.
Because the moments that mean the most don’t need to be perfectly staged. They simply need to feel like you.
I mainly photograph families and couples in Ratingen, Düsseldorf and the surrounding area. For your family or couples session, I’m happy to come to your home, meet you outdoors in nature, or find a location together that feels right for you. I also travel throughout the Rhineland and Ruhr region.

- You will receive a curated selection of images from your session in a private online gallery. The gallery will include watermarked previews, allowing you to choose your favourite images. Once you’ve made your selection, each chosen photograph will be carefully hand-edited and delivered to you in high resolution.

Is my photography right for you?
Choosing a photographer is about more than just loving their images, it’s about finding someone whose style, personality and approach feel right for you.
If you’re drawn to natural, emotional and editorial photography, we might be a great fit. But to be sure, before your special day, we can meet in person or online to see if the chemistry fits and then we can discuss necessary wedding details.
How far do you travel?
I’m based in Ratingen and photograph throughout Düsseldorf, Cologne, Essen, NRW and beyond.
Do you work in English?
Absolutely. I’m happy to communicate in both English and German.
Are the photographs professionally edited?
Yes. Every image in your final gallery is carefully selected and professionally edited to create a consistent look and feel.
How long does it take to receive our photographs?
My editing and delivery times vary depending on the type of photography and the season. I’ll always give you an estimated delivery time when you book.
Can we share our photographs on social media?
Absolutely! I love seeing your photographs being shared. You’re welcome to post your images for personal use, and I’d always appreciate being tagged.
Do you offer family sessions outdoors?
Yes. Family sessions can take place outdoors, at your home or at a location that is meaningful to you.
What should we wear for our family session?
Choose outfits that make you feel comfortable. This could be anything from cosy textured knits, denim, soft pastels, neutral/earthy tones, or even primary complementary colours.
I’d personally avoid large logos, busy patterns and smart watches, as they can be distracting. Don’t worry about having perfectly coordinated outfits. This session is about you and your family. And if you’re unsure, I’m always happy to help with outfit ideas before your session.
Do we need to prepare anything before the session?
Not much! Make sure everyone has eaten and, if possible, had a good rest. Bring anything your children might need during the session, such as snacks, water or a favourite comfort item.
What if my child doesn’t want to cooperate?
Don’t worry, they don’t have to. I don’t expect children to sit still, smile on command or behave perfectly. I’ll follow their lead and give them time to warm up. Some of the most beautiful photographs happen when children are simply being themselves.
Can we bring our dog?
Of course! Pets are part of the family too.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we can either reschedule or discuss an alternative location, depending on the type of session.
Can we book a family session as a gift?
Yes! Photography sessions make a lovely gift for birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas or simply because.
